  Mark Thomas, 6th February, 8pm, Exeter Phoenix. In Showtime from the Frontline, Mark and his team set out to run a comedy club in Jenin, only to find it's not simple to celebrate freedom of speech in a place with so little freedom.   Garth Hewitt, 13th February, 7pm, Southernhay United Reformed Church, Exeter EX1 1QA. In Against the Grain, Garth tells the stories of people he has met in Palestine and elsewhere who confront hardship and danger, and in his songs he sings of hope and justice.   Liz Hocking, who was recently an Ecumenical Accompanier, will give an illustrated talk about her three months in the Palestinian West Bank on Thurs. March 8th at 7.00pm in Temple Church, Fore St, Budleigh Salterton. A short film about the village of Susiya will be shown.
