Gig for Gaza Report

Good News for those who attended the Gig for Gaza at the Phoenix on 14 March and good news for those who didn’t!

In conjunction with a University student, we have produced an edited highlight’s DVD of the Gig for Gaza at the Phoenix 14 March. The DVD includes footage of Gaza and Palestine interweaved with music and visuals of the artists performing on the evening. It also includes an extras section which includes talks and interviews by Ilan Pappe, David Halpin, Ghada Karmi and Hedy Epstein.  We are offering it as a souvenir of this unique event at a cost of £10.

The highlights of each of the artists, Seize the Day; Val Crowe; Stripey Howling Hancock; David Cottam; Doozer and Bokazeika are worth the money asked on their own, but the addition of the extras, makes this amazing value for a visible reminder of a unique event.

To order a copy forward a cheque for £10 plus £1 p/p made out to Exeter PSC Gaza Appeal to Roy Ratcliffe at Bawdenhayes Farm, Sandford, Crediton, Devon EX17 4ET.

Copies will also be available at Exeter PSC monthly meetings (7.pm, 1st Tuesday in the month at the Global Centre Exeter.

The evening and the lead up to it means we should clear £1,800 from the event and if a reasonable number of people who attended the evening purchase a souvenir DVD then this should push the final figure to over £2,000.

Thanks to all those who supported the event.

In solidarity,

Roy Ratcliffe
